The hummingbird is more than a symbol of beauty or movement—it is a presence.

Artist Alejandro De Narváez was inspired by the belief that when a hummingbird appears, it may be carrying a message from someone we love—a message of joy, love, and protection.

For Alejandro, this belief is deeply personal. Hummingbirds are inseparably connected to one of his most cherished memories of his mother. As a child, he watched her step outside every morning to feed the hummingbirds. He remembers her smile, the tenderness of that daily ritual, and the love she poured into something so small and delicate.

Today, each of his hummingbird sculptures is both a tribute to that memory and an invitation to reflect on the invisible bonds that continue to unite us with those we love.
